[See? This is what he likes. Someone who's not going to get bent out of shape and demand an apology when House wasn't even trying to put him in danger. Much danger. He knew Mycroft wanted to get at the cloaks. But that would have been on his own head, not House's.]
one person i had one bust in on me and a group before none of us were prepared it snagged the closest guy then just turned and ran same thing i've heard about and seen for other ones as soon as it gets one person, that's it
Then why'd it come after me? Something different about the hospital morgue, perhaps?
It's possible it merely killed me and left me for dead, but that's unlikely as it went through a lot of trouble of trying to bring me in there as well, when it could have dispatched me a number of other ways.
[As long as Sherlock's not involved, Mycroft's not as hung up on death. It was disturbing, naturally, and the existential crisis lurked in the back of his mind, but other than that, he's always been rather practical about it.]
something different about the tablets we've had the prophets take over for the spiders collecting chips maybe they installed their own version of the morgue anomaly too many conflicting variables not enough concrete data we're not doing that again, though not any time soon
i'm not insane anymore and your baby talk's gone last time i knew a guy who died in a short time frame he kept his old death price got a new one of top of it, too timing varies for how long they last maybe we both just got lucky not sure but i don't believe in coincidences
wound up over in the radiation zone again so quick travel by death does work if you get lucky where'd you end up?
No, we most definitely are not. [He staunchly agrees.]
Yes, but I don't know if I received another death price in return. I doubt we both got lucky, maybe it just hasn't shown up yet.
[He's been majorly worried about it ever since he woke up, but he hasn't figured it out yet. Nothing is amiss.]
I woke up in the Chapel. I find it interesting, do you not? That we so quickly arrive in completely different areas? Is there some underground system where bodies are funneled through? Why the different areas, why the random reshuffling?
if you don't know what it is memories are likely suspects or some perception obviously if you're missing it and you can't perceive it you can't know that it's missing
i don't find it particularly interesting, no there's an underground network of tunnels weren't you around when watson did that test with the bomb on one of the trapdoors? you'd also be amazed how far you can travel around here when someone shuts off the environmental factors the night everyone went crazy, murdering each other i could run around practically the entire map i'm guessing we'll gain access to the tunnels once we get to the center then anyone outside can quick-run it to the center for the final boss showdown it's how these kinds of games work
that's what every anomaly's done since we've been here we got some dream snippets about the town wanting to swallow us whole and that's what the anomalies do so maybe they're the town ~ooooooooo~
but srsly the anomalies only ever eat one person so that's weird as hell if it went for a twofer
[How very odd. But it still gets a scoff from him. Yes, he was judging the town's murdery inclinations, so many more efficient and less lurid means of disposal.]
Regardless of if it did consume me or not, it still killed me.
[A frown. He doesn't like being part of a new trend. Was it something he did? Was wearing? The location?]

Fantastic.
[Ah. Well, that made perfect sense, then.]
No, I was not here for that. [A bomb?!]
[Mycroft had no time nor interest in video games, so what House said made little sense to him other than the conclusion about the tunnels opening up.]
...right. Naturally. Though when you were in the morgue and the...thing came out, how much of it were you aware of?
no subject
think the wifey was in on it, too
didn't get anywhere
but trying counts for something, i guess
i was about as aware as i usually am
i saw it was wilson
one of the guys i know from back home
soon as it touched me i was out

Any other thing of note? Anything different?
